When you play sports, it may take more time to recover or you may have intimacy issues with your girlfriend due to erectile problems in the bedroom. The changes are subtle, but they do occur and it will increase the older you get. The main cause of all these changes is that we have lower testosterone levels in the body.

What is Lower Testosterone?

The reason we start producing less testosterone is that the body needs less of is after about the age of 25. The body is fully developed and you have as much muscle mass as you’re going to need biologically speaking. Nature determined over millions of years that this was the age the body would be at its peak. The body starts to produce less testosterone at age 25 than it did as the body was maturing. As we age, the body will produce less and less testosterone. You won’t notice that your testosterone is getting lower because it’s a subtle process.

When testosterone begins to decrease in the body, you’ll usually have more fatigue. It takes more work to maintain muscle mass as you age. You may also find it more difficult to gain more muscle mass. You may experience weight gain, a lack of focus, and you could have a lower libido or desire for sex.
These factors can be frustrating for a man regardless of their job, age, relationship status, or other factors. You want to get the most out of any testosterone booster that you’re taking so you produce more testosterone. • Zinc
• Vitamin D
• Boron

Zinc

When you take a T-booster supplement, you need to have zinc as this is the most important ingredient. When working out and fatigue sets in, this is usually lower levels of zinc and testosterone. Zinc is concentrated in the Leydig cells of the testes which synthesize testosterone for its release. If you have a lot of zinc in your system, the easier it is to get testosterone when you need it.

Low Zinc Level Problems

When a man has low zinc levels, there can be numerous problems that occur. When testosterone and zinc are raised, these can be corrected. Some problems may include:
• Loss of strength and muscle mass
• Low production of body hair
• Lower sex drive or libido
• ED or erectile dysfunction
• Infertility issues
• Brittle bones
• Overall weakness
• Fatigue
• Lack of concentration and focus

Why are Zinc Levels Low?

There’s several reasons why zinc levels may be lower than normal. One of the main reasons can be problems with the diet. If you don’t get enough zinc in the diet this will play a role in your health. There’s some other issues that relate to lower levels of zinc in the body. When you drink coffee, this can decrease zinc levels for both men and women. When a man has sex and ejaculates, he loses about 3-5mg of zinc in the semen.
 
If you’re a heavy consumer of protein, the increase in protein can prevent zinc from being absorbed properly. If you want to have a higher T level, a protein shake isn’t a good option. As you age, the way zinc is carried in the body will change. It can be difficult to get enough vitamin D because we aren’t often out in the sun, especially if you work in an office environment. You can get vitamin D in fatty fish and in milk. To get enough vitamin D, you may want to take some supplements to boost your overall levels.

Boron can also fight the T-killers like SHBG or Sex Hormone Binding Globulin and estradiol. If there’s too much in the body, then SHBG binds the testosterone and it won’t be used. When there’s too much Estradiol, this converts testosterone to oestrogen so the impacts of testosterone are less.
